About the Beechcraft Hawker 850XP

The Hawker 800 is a series of mid-size corporate aircraft developed from the British Aerospace BAe 25 by Hawker Beechcraft. It took nineteen years until the 500th BAe 125 airframe was sold, while in a little over five years British Aerospace were registering the 200th sale of the 800 series. The Hawker 850XP is the third member of this Series 800 and was certified for production in 2006. The Hawker 850XP is identical to the 800XP except that it includes winglets, which decrease drag, increase rate of climb, and extend its operating range by 100 nautical miles. The interior features LCD lighting, touch-screen seat controls, plenty of in-cabin storage, and stand-up headroom. Production of the Hawker 850XP ended in 2009, with a total of 100 aircraft built. All but one remain in operation. 8.1% of the fleet is for sale on the market, and there they will spend an average of 450 days. North America holds the largest percentage of 850XP aircraft with 63%, and Asia follows with 17%. An additional 11% is operated in Europe.
