Today we explore Jaisalmer City. We visit the Golden Fort – a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the very few living forts in the world, as nearly one fourth of the population of the city still resides within the fort, followed by a visit to Jain Mandir – carved in yellow sandstone and dedicated to Jain hermits known as Tirthankars. Later, we visit Patwon Ki Haweli Museum – a palace built in the early 1800s, now a museum featuring intricate carvings, furniture, and artwork, and see Nathmal Ji Ki Haveli.

Later, we proceed to the famous Sam Sand Dunes. In the late afternoon, you will be taken to the nearby sand dunes to witness the spectacular beauty of the sandy terrain by enjoying a joyful camel ride and viewing the red-orange splash of sunset on the desert horizon.

Optional – You can also experience thrilling dune bashing (jeep safari) at an additional cost over the golden sands.

Enjoy a relaxed morning and relish your breakfast. Later, check out from the Jaisalmer camp and drive to the Blue City of Rajasthan – Jodhpur. The drive will take about 5–6 hours. On arrival at your hotel in Jodhpur, check in and spend the rest of the day relaxing or self-exploring the nearby market.

Today morning after breakfast, we will proceed for a city tour of the Blue City. We visit Mehrangarh Fort, the most famous attraction in Jodhpur. It spreads over 5 kms and stands atop a high hill. Within the fort, we see notable beautiful structures like Moti Mahal and Phool Mahal. After visiting the fort, we will visit Jaswant Thada, a beautiful white marble memorial built by Sardar Singh in 1899 in memory of Maharaja Jaswant Singh II. Later, we will visit the Clock Tower and spend some time in the nearby local markets to enjoy last-minute shopping before returning to the hotel.
